|At last, new patterns have come along
My lonely days are over
And life is like a song
Oh, yeah, at last
The skies above are blue
My heart was wrapped up in clovers
The night I looked at them
I found a dream that I could speak to
A dream that I can call my own
I found a thrill to rest my cheek to
A thrill that I have not known in a while
Oh, yeah though they’re not quilted
But still, the spell was cast
And here I am in heaven
For these at last
With apologies to Etta James, I just couldn’t help myself.
Finally. After a really long while, I’ve managed to get this all updated so I can share some new and not-so-new things.
There are six new Schnibbles patterns with four more coming later this month. There are other patterns coming before the end of the year but I won’t use the word “soon” since that’s become such a relative-term around here.
I also never got around to telling you about The Crumbler and Lil’ Crumbler – my adventures in tumbling and template-ing. It’s simple – I wanted to make a tumbler quilt but couldn’t find one in the size I wanted, or with some of the options I wanted. So I made my own. I’m not responsible for the name – that came from a friend. C for Carrie, R for Rosie and the rest from tumbler – that was her explanation. I laughed. It stuck.
Schnibbles: Mercerie, Clover, Canasta, Bungalow, Morning Joe, Squared, Hook, Petal, Jersey Girl, Chicken Feed
Rosie's Quilts: The Crumbler / Lil’ Crumbler
Little Bites: Coming in December
